As an importer, you are required to submit a letter in writing or email a description of the animal or animal product(s) being requested for importation. This should then be delivered in person or emailed to "ngatoko.ngatoko@cookislands.gov.ck". The recipient will then be contacted by email for approval to import. Any animal or animal product(s) permitted entry will only be from the list specified in section AP1 - AP69 of the Import Specifications List (see attachment), and only from those countries specified in this section. Other animal or animal product(s) may be imported with the permission of the Director of Biosecurity. Permission must be sought in advance.
